Our Mission & Focus
The Ladies Ministry at FBC exists to encourage, enable, equip, and engage women to discover and live out their God-given purpose through involvement in His Kingdom work. Our goal is to be a Bible-teaching, groups-based, multi-generational, missional ministry of First Baptist Church.
We have weekly Bible study classes and monthly events where women can:

Grow in knowledge, understanding, and love for God.

Build relationships with one another, the community, and the world around us.

Be challenged and equipped to live out His mission, fueled by the unchanging Word of God.
Ladies Connection Class | Sundays at 9:30 AM
Join us for a welcoming and encouraging time of fellowship in this Sunday School class as women gather to pray, share how God is at work, and grow together through in-depth study of His Word.
We are currently studying Seven Prayers That Will Change Your Life.
Ladies Bible Study | Tuesdays at 9:15 AM
We meet from September through May. We gather together for an uplifting time of prayer and Bible Study. We are not currently meeting. However, stay tuned for our start date this coming fall. We would love to have you join us as we grow in our understanding of God’s Word and seek to live it out in our daily lives.
Monthly Craft Weekends
Our ladies enjoy creating together, so we host Craft Weekends every month for women from our church family and the community. Bring whatever project you’re working on and enjoy a relaxed, friendly atmosphere filled with conversation, laughter, and fellowship. Whether you enjoy sewing, jewelry making, scrapbooking, knitting, or something else entirely, there’s a place for you. If you love to craft, you’ll feel right at home!
We begin at 9:30 AM on scheduled craft days. Whether you can stay for just a few hours or join us throughout the weekend, you are always welcome.

Ladies Supporting Ladies Luncheon | First Thursday of the Month
The first Thursday of each month at 12:00 PM, we meet at Rocky's Family Dining in Westland for fellowship, prayer, and great food!
