Ron grew up in a Christian home where his family played a significant role in nurturing his passion for serving God through music. He began singing at the age of three, performing with his parents’ group, The Good News Quartet, at the Masonic Temple in Detroit.
Ron later became a member of The Keynotes, who were honored to appear on the Grand Ole Opry in 1974. In the years that followed, he sang with The Royalaires Trio before joining The Chapels in 1996, a group then based out of First Baptist.
During his time with The Chapels, the group recorded ten CD projects and two DVDs, performed the National Anthem at a Detroit Tigers baseball game, and appeared in Gaither Homecoming videos.
Ron believes it is a sincere privilege to serve God at First Baptist Church and to be a part of this wonderful ministry in Canton, Michigan!
