There is a place for everyone in the Music Ministry at First Baptist Church of Canton. Whether you sing or play an instrument, you will find a multitude of opportunities to use your gifts for the Lord. The Music Ministry has a three-fold purpose. Our focus is to glorify God, evangelize the lost, and edify the believer through powerful expression in song.

"And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD." (Psalm 40:3)

We as believers have a new song. It is not an ordinary song. It is a song that the world cannot sing. It is a song of praise to our great God who has redeemed us from a terrible pit and placed our feet upon a Rock. When God is worshipped in spirit and in truth, those who behold it cannot help but be influenced by it. Believers are drawn into worship with us. They will learn to reverence, honor and worship God as a result. As unbelievers witness the grace of God poured out upon unworthy men, they see the reality of God and their own lack of such a relationship, and are drawn to Him.
